Please welcome Dr. Dainius Daunoravicius, National Secretary from Lithuania! He shares his view on the challenges ahead and how multicultural training influenced his career.

You received training worldwide, including in Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Türkiye, France, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom. How has multicultural training influenced your career?

"I have always believed that the best knowledge comes directly from the operating room and working surgeons. One of the best experiences was visiting ISAPS past President Dr. Jan Poell in St. Gallen, Switzerland. He shared his lifelong experience in breast surgery, which dramatically changed my career. Almost ten years later, I still use Dr. Poell's technique, with some adjustments, in all breast lifts and reduction cases, and I hope to spread this brilliant method to my colleagues in the future."
